About the Organization

Spark is a national organization that provides life-changing apprenticeships to middle school students from disadvantaged communities in an effort to empower them to succeed in their education and beyond.

Spark is the only youth apprenticeship program in the country that addresses the dropout crisis by re-engaging at-risk students through hands-on, individualized apprenticeships. These workplace-based apprenticeships—in professions each student has identified as a “dream job”—create a powerful sense of relevance for students, while providing the skills and confidence necessary to find success in school and in life.

About the Opportunity

We would love to have a professional photographer visit some of our most exciting apprenticeships this session to capture photos of the students working with their mentors. We'd also love to have a photographer cover our Discovery Night celebrations, the culmination of the program at the end of each semester.
