About the Opportunity

PHOTOkidz programs are running in Cambodia and Bhutan, with more countries soon. We are growing and we appreciate every bit of help. PHOTOkidz provides the platform - the children, the curriculum, the cameras - for photographer volunteers to help each child as part of their holistic development. The children are typically under-served children and youths in developing countries. In providing a safe environment for the children to explore and grow, PHOTOkidz helps them develop self-esteem and aspirations beyond their worlds. The PHOTOkidz curriculum is children-specific and interactive to encourage free expression and stimulate learning. Importantly, the children are encouraged to have fun in the world of photography. Cameras for PHOTOkidz are collected from individual or corporate donors. Our volunteers clean up, repair and ready the donated cameras for the program.
