About the Opportunity

The MCBC's promotional outreach would benefit greatly from images that convey the joy, ease, independence, health, and utility that is being provided to individuals, groups and families by the bicycle facilities we have helped create in Marin County. Because of MCBC's advocacy, Marin now has many miles of bike lanes, traffic-free bike routes, the 1.1 mile Cal Park Tunnel, bike route signage on secondary streets, and 'sharrow' stencils on downtown roads that alert drivers to the potential presence of cyclists. All these facilities assist residents to reach their destinations (schools, playgrounds, trail heads, shopping centers, transit. employment...) by their own power - without fossil fuels. We would appreciate help in capturing images of the users of these routes to illustrate the benefits they are providing countywide.
