About the Organization

Health Leads mobilizes undergraduate volunteers, in partnership with providers in urban clinics, to connect low-income patients with the basic resources — such as food, housing, and heating assistance — that they need to be healthy. These dedicated volunteers and our many alumni are helping to create the next generation of health leaders who, having seen the problems and solutions first-hand, have the conviction and ability to truly transform health care in America. Our core belief is that HEALTH, not disease, should LEAD the design of America’s health care system. Health comes first.

About the Opportunity

Our current photo bank is very limited as we recently went through a re-branding process. We have programs in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, New York, Providence and Washington, D.C. and need high-quality photographs from all cities except Baltimore. We would like these photographs to showcase the collaborative work between our volunteers, clients, and health care providers that takes place in the clinics and hospitals where our programs are based. We have specific requests that come from our design guide: captured moments - images invoke an emotional response when they capture honest moments and reveal the sincerity and drama of real life situations, never use images that seem staged; relationships - imagery can effectively demonstrate the network of relationships and human interaction between clinicians, patients & volunteers, use dynamic cropping and perspective for maximum impact.
