About the Organization

Growing Healthy Kids educates and empowers children and their families, communities and supporting organizations in Indian River County, Florida, and beyond to understand and value the importance of optimizing health for everyone. Our programs all focus on how to make integrity-based decisions and take consistent actions that result in optimal health for children and their families. Our vision is to provide global leadership in the prevention of childhood obesity, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease through mindful, healthy eating, physical play, and work. We create and deliver innovative educational programs for children and adults where they study, play, and work.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for photographers to serve as mentors and to help us launch photography contests for children in the 5 states with the highest rates of childhood obesity (Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana and Illinois) in the US.
