In the photos I want to show the importance of youth participation through volunteering in contributing to the development of the country. In this case, showing a concern for the development of youth self-managed community of Huaycan, who are often victims of crime and drugs. They are empowered when provided tools of entrepreneurship, social responsibility and consultancies.
I chose this organization because I had worked before in other projects with them, in general environmental awareness among citizens. But this project, I call your attention to the fact that they were working with young people 15 years old. Therefore the impact was immediate, simply because I discovered another reality, that I too could make a positive change, even a very small one such as a picture. This experience consolidated an initiative called “Responsabilidad Social Todos.”
It is gratifying to me that through my photos could help the organization to consolidate and communicate their work through social networks, achieving more supporters in the network.
